The muxponder card is a plug-in module, enabling a high-density, cost-effective solution for OC-48/STM-16 services transport over a platform capable of low-rate services. The muxponder card architecture contains client interfaces that are mapped to a single line interface, without accessing the shelf cross-connect fabric.
