D-Link DAP-2622

D-Link Nuclias DAP-2622 IEEE 802.11ac 1.17 Gbit/s Wireless Access Point - 2.40 GHz, 5 GHz - 2 x Internal Antenna(s) - MIMO Technology - 3 x Network (RJ-45) - Gigabit Ethernet - PoE Ports - Wall Mountable

Multi-Mode Makes the Most of your Network Capabilities

In order to achieve optimal network performance, the DAP-2622 has several operational modes tailored to best fit the individual needs of your network. Access Point, Wireless Client, WDS (Wireless Distribution System), and WDS with Access Point modes allow for flexible, customizable deployment whatever your requirements.

Access Point

Add wireless access to your existing wired network.

Wireless Client

Add wireless functionality to a device which does not have a Wi-Fi adapter.

WDS

Wirelessly connect two separate networks.

WDS with AP

Wirelessly connect two separate networks while also providing wireless access to both networks.

Get Your Network Up to Speed

The DAP-2622 is built to handle bandwidth-intensive applications involving numerous clients. It delivers high-speed Wave 2 wireless connection reliably, with maximum wireless signal rates of up to 1167 Mbps, and 2 x 2 MU-MIMO with two spatial streams. Performance is further optimized via the Nuclias Connect platform which adjusts the DAP-2622's channel selection, transmission power, and maximum number of client connections.

Ideal for Hotel Rooms...

...dormitories or other short stay rentals. Turn any Ethernet socket into a high-speed access point, as well as connect an IP phone or other device via the extra LAN socket.

Take a Load Off and Let Your AP Do the Hard Work

The DAP-2622's Load Balancing feature spreads the work load between two or more Access Points to get optimal resource utilization, throughput and response time, while Airtime Fairness helps distribute equal amounts of air time to each connected client. Band Steering auto-connects devices such as smart phones and tablets to the higher-capacity 5 GHz band while allowing devices 2.4 GHz-ready to remain. The result is a steady, consistent connection for each user - the perfect balancing act.

Peak Performance and Discreet Deployment with Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The DAP-2622 is equipped with two PoE ports (one input and one output), able to power an external device (such as an IP phone), as well as a LAN port if a wired connection is necessary. Together, they allow for an easy installation and a simple, clean setup.

Make Every Second Count

The DAP-2622 not only delivers reliable wireless performance with maximum wireless signal rates of up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band. Quality of Service (QoS) support also enhances your network's efficiency. QoS cleverly prioritizes network traffic so that time-sensitive data, such as VoIP or high-quality video streaming, are unaffected even during bursts of high data traffic. This allows for an all-round smoother, uninterrupted Wi-Fi experience.

Complete Control over your Network's Access

Complete control comes as standard with the DAP-2622. Combined with the Nuclias Connect management software, a variety of the latest in network security and management tools are at your fingertips. You can rest assured that the best of the best are hard at work keeping your network protected and hitch free.
